Maybe its because I'm old (just turned 36). Or because I've been married for almost 10 years (May 5th). Or maybe its that I'm a generation X'er?
But... I received a text message that really annoyed me, this morning.
I just can't accept "My bf and i got into a huge fight and i feel like i need to be with him to try and work things out" as a good reason to miss your first day of work.
I'm just sayin'.
Oh... and it was sent to me in a text message. Apparently, somewhere along the way, I missed the memo where texting is an acceptable form of communication for important notifications--such as not working for the day.
Apparently, I need to learn my lesson... Committment is dead. REAL communication is dead. Mental health days are freebies to be taken at a moments... or in a text message notice.
I don't think I'll ever learn.
Shouldn't have to.
